For fifty years we have been crafting objects of light and shedding brightness on generations of dreams. For us, light is the substance for expressing new ideas and illuminating unexplored emotions. We write the future, reading our past and expressing the present, in a continuity of positive challenges and bold choices that have shaped our image and identity. Our history has taught us to fan the flames of provocation with research into new poetic notions of functionality. Trusting our intuition has always allowed us to create products that become icons, establishing new typologies and innovative archetypes. Connecting with masters of design. Discovering new talents. Commanding high technical and technological status. Staying tuned into mass culture. These qualities always place us at the cutting edge. Experimentation opens the way for us to use revolutionary materials – as in the past with Cocoon – and hi-tech solutions, today represented by OLEDs and eco-sustainable materials. By conceiving new languages around light, we chart new aesthetics and freedoms for living. Our lamps, of yesterday and today, never fail to be serious about their sense of play and irony. On the fine line that divides and unites art and design, craftsmanship and industry, the limited edition and larger scale manufacturing, an individual’s idea and the collective imagination. That’s our place. That’s where you’ll find us.
A technological and creative workshop that conceives, develops and produces not just lamps but pure emotions, in collaboration with many other designers from around the world. A company that is free, passionate, unconventional and right at the heart of the industry in which it thrives. This is Foscarini. A designing and technological tour de force, Foscarini explores an entire world of materials and solutions. Their research atelier experiments, free of any mental barriers or technical restraints through flexible, efficient and high quality production, while the sales and logistics organisation distributes with equal care all over the world the smallest table lamp to the largest lighting set. Foscarini: a special personality in the world of lighting.

At Selux, we have been asking ourselves how to light places for more than 70 years. How do we create safety, well-being and beauty with light? How do our products work during the day when they are objects in public spaces?
The amazing thing is that the answers to these questions are right in front of us. Nature provides us with the answers. In nature, everything is in harmony. Everything complements each other, nothing dominates in the long run. Nature knows no monoculture, nothing is fashionable and everything that does not make sense will disappear in the end. The results are perfect protagonists that exist in interaction with each other and constantly optimise themselves.
As a result, a central thought has emerged in our minds: If we celebrate the perfection, intelligence and beauty of nature and take it as our model, many acts derive from it.
LASVIT is a Czech-based designer and manufacturer of bespoke lighting installations, ready-to-shine collections and glass for architecture.
The company was founded in 2007, yet is part of the long glassmaking history of Northern Bohemia.
The company’s product range revolves around the “Maria Teresa” chandeliers typical of Venetian tradition. But the glass arms in all their shapes and colours, and especially those of the outdoor DRYLIGHT collection, and of Marc Sadler’s new, modular RAQAM project, are constantly evolving in terms of technology and engineering. MASIERO’s innovative technology is protected by international patents covering the latest developments in home automation and light sources and their exploitation in innovative new lighting products. MASIERO innovations combine decorative and technical characteristics just like architectural lighting. And they serve the indoor and outdoor markets. In 2014, Enrico Maria Masiero dedicated a specific division of the company to outdoor lighting projects based on the latest developments.
DIMORE and ATELIER are the two catalogues that illustrate MASIERO’s latest, contemporary products for the residential and contract markets respectively. Each product takes shape in MASIERO’s own factories where specialist production lines complete the entire cycle, with the technical and prototyping departments playing key roles. Production begins with the machining of components and moves on through assembly to painting, finishing and decoration. The electrical system is then added and the product tested before being packed and despatched. The whole process is subject to the strictest quality control and designed to accommodate special requests.

Luceplan was set up with the object of creating and producing interior and exterior lighting and to enhance the quality of living. Energy saving is therefore a top priority and cannot be confined to the ratio of lighting to energy consumption: it must embrace the environmental compatibility of our whole operation – from choice of materials to the manufacturing process, from product durability to product maintenance. If an object is to last, it needs to be beautiful as well as technologically sound. But a long-lasting product also offers better environmental compatibility and it outlives fashions.

Davide Groppi was inventing and producing his first lamps and decided simply to use his own name for the name of the company.
Creative independence and passionate, unconventional management have allowed him, over time, to learn and develop his own brand of original and unique products, currently distributed the world over.
Simplicity, weightlessness, emotion, creative invention and amazement are the fundamental components of each lamp or lighting project designed by Davide Groppi.
Davide Groppi creations are never conceived as just lights or lamps. They come about through the need to give life to something that is necessary or significant.
Some of the things that inspire these ideas are works of art, ready made objects, magic, the desire to make things with his hands or simply the urge to play and have fun with light.

The idea of standardizing on an industrial scale, and using polymers, a number of articles that used to be produced in small quantities and in a variety of materials, was the brainchild of STEAB’s founder, Belisario Pini, who possess exceptional technical capability and insight. STEAB “Studio Tecnico E Applicazione Brevetti” (Technical Projects and Patents Application Company), began with small screws, washers and nuts, creating a range of alternative products to those on the market. Thus a “product demand” was created, the technical requirements having already been achieved. More items were produced and consideration given to adapting them to all possible applications, developing a line of original articles which were launched in different fields of application from those for which they were intended, STEAB’s products were therefore created to meet the required functions, the Company to provide the desired product. The History of STEAB starts from 1971, in Via Reginaldo Giuliani 102/r – Florence with the activity of molding Micro- Parts in Plastic. At the beginning of 1972 it produces the first components for Lighting Industry, at the same time 4 press-machines are purchased and a small equipment for the mould’s construction. 3 people as staff join the Owners (Mr. Pini and his wife). From 1972 to 1982, the Company’s plant is expanded buying new flats. The equipment in the workshop is improved and the press-machines in the productive dept. are 13. The staff increase to 13 people. In 1982, PEISA srl is formed wit the goal to provide the moulds for plastic materials to STEAB and other Customers. STEAB’s program achieves the quantity of 1000 Codes. In 1983, STEAB attend the International Exhibition INTEL in Milan in order to spread its range in export market, in the meantime the staff increases to 15 employes. In 1987, 5000 sqmt. ground located in Scopeti / Rufina is purchased to build up the new productive plant for Companies STEAB and PEISA.

Founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Breuninger in the German Bundesland of Mecklenburg, WIBRE initially produced white goods for everyday use. Electric kettles, immersion heaters, toasters, soldering irons and hair driers – our name was already at that time a synonym for technical perfection and innovative spirit. In 1953, the company moved from Mecklenburg- Vorpommern to Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Relocation went hand in hand with the company’s entry into the market for lighting technology. The first fountain spotlight and diverse spotlights for shop window lighting left our production facilities. One thing, however, did not change: we still manufactured our products with passion for perfection.
BRICK IN THE WALL® developed it’s own CALCYT® plaster with amazing characteristics. CALCYT® is a high density, heat and fire resistant, next genera- tion plaster, with optimal hardness and light reflexion properties. Our continuous research results in the production of CALCYT® fittings without air holes, assuring no cracks after installation.

Over 50 years and 2 generations dedicated to the design, manufacture and application of functional, innovative, solution oriented, high-quality architectural lighting.
First established in London in the late 1960s and directed by an experienced, personabel founding partner – Lorenzo Maghnagi – our passion for Italian design and lighting are embedded in formalighting’s DNA.
Our vision for architectural lighting in the commercial project specifications market evolved, making formalighting one of the first European lighting companies to open its own, wholly-managed ISO certified factory in China by the late 1990’s, and in recent years, one of the first lighting companies to incorporate dynamic beam shaping technology and IoT compatible sensors into our Italian designed architectural lighting fixtures.
Established in 2010, we are a UK based LED manufacturing company that is passionate about lighting and technology and have rapidly grown to be one of the leaders within the industry. Our passion for LED lighting mixed with our knowledge of design and technical expertise has prompted us to develop an incredible portfolio of quality products which have radically contributed to the lighting industry.

Traxon Technologies in cooperation with its parent companies Osram and Siemens developed and completed this ground-breaking technological project together with multimedia artist Michael Pendry over the past months. Visible from a distance of up to 30 kilometers the LED windmill is a pioneering installation and a symbol for green energy as well as worldwide climate protection. “Green innovations are lighting our way to a better future,” said Siemens President and CEO Peter Löscher, referring to the great energy efficiency of LED lighting. The installation consists of 1,000 Dot XL-9 lighting fixtures (9,000 LEDs) that are as bright as around 20,000 Christmas candles. Yet the entire system uses only as much electricity as one hair dryer or two water kettles.
Besides the difficult winter- weather conditions the challenge was to implement an installation on a constantly rotating object. Artist Michael Pendry chose Traxon Technologies as partner for realizing this spectacular project due to its innovative and customizable lighting solutions. Traxon’s IP67-rated Dot XL offers exactly the flexibility needed for this demanding project. Available with 3, 6 or 9 high performance LEDs per dot casing the single controllable dots are mounted on an elastic cable with customizable pitch offering the possibility to be installed on almost any surface or three-dimensional shape. Furthermore the Dot XL has a robust casing that ensures full outdoor capability. Since under windy conditions the lighting fixtures are subject to forces up to 20 G, the Dot XLs were sticked to the wind turbine blades with superglue used in space. Controllable by DMX as well as DVI input signals Traxon’s Dot XL displays full color lighting effects and spectacular video animations. The programming of the Christmas stars lighting alone took two full days. The animation effects needed to be coordinated in real time with the various strengths of the wind and speed of the wind turbine itself. A technical masterpiece!
BEGA has developed and produced high-quality luminaires for almost all areas of architecture for more than six decades. During this time, products, their concept and trademarks have become a generic term for many luminaires in the entire industry. The light brick trademark has formed part of our programme for over 50 years. We have focused on in-ground lighting intensively for more than 40 years. We ourselves have established many of the valid criteria which are used as the basis for judging the quality of this group of luminaires.
We are familiar with the extreme conditions outdoor luminaires are subject to. They are exposed to dirt, weather factors and extreme fluctuations in temperature. More than any other luminaires, they are required to withstand a high degree of physical stress. We ourselves have created the best technology and production processes to more than meet these requirements. They were not the result of a series of regulations but of our learning process, and form an integral part of our quality concept. This know-how is part of our experience and defines our daily approach to the development of new luminaires and new product ideas.

Terzani continues to redefine the way luxury lighting is designed and produced. Through experimentation with new production methods and forward-thinking ideas, it has become known for designs that use sculpture, light, shadow and motion to reshape spaces. These handmade products sit at the intersection of art, luxury and design. Respecting Terzaniʼs artisan tradition, each “lighting sculpture” continues to incorporate traditional methods of processing glass and metal, along with giving individual attention to the every detail.
Since the beginning, Terzani has always viewed aesthetics as a way of interpreting natural and artistic beauty. Born in Florence, Italy, the cradle of the Renaissance, the company was driven to follow the creative invocations of the magical city. When you look at a Terzani design, you can sense how its light enchantingly envelops the surrounding space. Itʼs more than simply a practical, utilitarian design, itʼs an aesthetic representing modern and artistic beauty through the use of design and innovative technologies. The unique style Terzani has established requires balancing several characteristics. Terzani is elegant and sophisticated, innovative yet original. Terzani uses the latest technology, but also incorporates fine materials traditionally hand-crafted by local artisans. Each lamp is an object/sculpture that is meant to be fully integrated into its surroundings, spreading a charming and enchanting play of light. Thus creating a constant interaction between the lamp and the space around it.
The feeling Terzani exudes is one of harmony and togetherness. Its products are grounded in the human process, transmitting the handmade artisan traditions of lovingly crafting objects piece by piece. For all these reasons, the company is growing and has expanded its exports to a growing number of countries.
